When to call 9-1-1:

If this is the first known seizure
If the seizure lasts longer than 5 minutes
If the seizure is different than usual seizures
If you are alarmed by the frequency or severity of the seizures
If you are alarmed by the color or breathing of the person
If the person is having unusual or serious problems
If the person sustains a serious injury
