3. Time the seizure

A convulsive seizure usually lasts 1-5 minutes.
When seizure ends, place him/her on left side if
not able to do so, previously.
Allow the individual to rest until fully recovered.
This could take from a few minutes to more than an hour.
Monitor for any further seizure activity.
